We run this route on the first and third weekend of every month, out of Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk. Groups are capped at twelve guests, and the full itinerary is published before you book.
Meet your guide at 17:40 outside Lviv railway station, ride by minibus to a family guesthouse in Vorokhta, then dinner and a short briefing on the next day's walk.
A 16 km walking day along the ridge, lunch at a shepherd's hut with brynza and tea, back to the guesthouse for a sauna and a late dinner.
An easy 12 km morning to the Prut waterfalls, a long lunch in Yaremche, arrival in Lviv by 20:00. Guesthouses, stops and distances are listed on the Routes page.
Difficulty is moderate: steady climbs, no scrambling, well-marked paths. Bring boots you have already broken in.
